Haagse Hogeschool
Team DIFDrive
Team "DIFDrive" represents The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Zoetermeer campus (Dutch Innovation Factory). This dedicated team consists of four students from different backgrounds: two Data Science students, one Innovative Development student, and one Network and Systems Engineering student. Though small in numbers, they are determined to push their vehicle to peak performance.
Diversity as a strength
Their biggest advantage? Their mix of expertise! With a range of study backgrounds, they approach problems from different perspectives and come up with creative solutions. Plus, they have a replica kart at their university, allowing them to test and refine their vehicle efficiently.
Meet Sjors!
Their vehicle is called "Sjors"—a simple, no-nonsense name that sticks. The biggest technical challenge for Team DIFDrive is scaling up their tested results from the small model to the full-sized kart. The tests they performed on the smaller version now need to be adjusted and implemented in the larger vehicle.
Chasing victory
Team DIFDrive has one clear goal: winning the Self Driving Challenge! On a technical level, they are focused on ensuring their vehicle can navigate all obstacles flawlessly and perform at its best on the track. They aim to refine last year’s models, making them even more accurate and efficient.
With their diverse skill set and determination, Team DIFDrive is ready to take on the Self Driving Challenge 2025 and lead their vehicle to victory!
