About the challenge
With the Self Driving Challenge, the RDW offers young talent the opportunity to develop their skills for the future of autonomous driving. This is a unique project in which student teams compete against each other by completing a series of challenges on a track that simulates real driving scenarios with their autonomous vehicles. The teams started developing their vehicles on February 13. Over the next few months, they can test their vehicles every Thursday at the RDW test track in Lelystad, after which they will compete against each other on June 12 in two categories.
